My airsoft career started when I was 13. I bought a low powered spring pistol from a local gun store, which broke in no time.
At the age of 15, I discovered a local airsoft shop (worlds most expensive airsoft shop), and bought a low power P8 with a laser sight. I started playing around with some friends, and noticed that the power of the spring P8 was unacceptable. After getting a Tokyo Marui spring MP5A3, I finally had enough money to get a "real" airsoft gun, a Tokyo Marui Spas 12.
Soon I found The Airsoftzone, which is down since a while. R.I.P. My first AEG was a TM M4A1, my first GBB a KSC MK23 Socom with Supressor. Both were state of the art back then, and it was a technical sensation, when the first adaptor for the Socom Supressor was released, to put it on AEGs. Good times back then...
In the meantime, I was co-founder of the first official austrian airsoft club, and proud to say that I've seeb the beginning and growth of the austrian airsoft scene. Currently, I'm trying to keep things together as a moderator of the airsoftaustria.com forums. Times change, airsoft now is not a priority in my life anymore. Too much work, to less money. I still love my collection and I dont regret the time I've put into airsoft.
